About the Author

My name is Erika Monique-neither of which I go by. My friends and loved ones call me Moquie. If you don't, we clearly have not met.

I grew up in a small town, raised by the greatest people you will ever meet. My family means the world to me.

I have a very large amount of acquintances and a number of friends that I can count on one hand. Those friends have stuck it out with me through thick and thin and to them, I owe everything.

I am a hopeless romatic with a wall as tall Mt. Everest. Not a great combination but, that's what happens when life gets the best of you. All I need is to find the one willing to make the climb.

Cancer took a beating from me and I put it in it's proper place.

I graduated from Northern Arizona Univeristy-Go Jacks!-with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English as a Second Language. At NAU I made new friends, lost some old ones, and found myself along the way.

Being a 4th grade teacher has been one of my dreams and I am so glad to say that I have fulfilled it. It's been everything I could have ever hoped for and more.

I am a firm believer in fate and timing. In the words of Richard Bach, "Every person, all the events in your life, are there because you have brought them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you."

I have been so blessed in my life and have no one else to thank but my Heavenly Father.
